Living in sin is breaking the Creator’s instructions! I John 3:4. Sin contaminates our existence and destiny.  A sinful fallen nature we are born into, however, this was not the Father’s original plan for humanity. The ultimate devastation is never growing from that fallen state and NEVER growing and repenting from sin.
