Opening:
Many reactions have come out of understanding who the true chosen ones are. After being lied to for many years, the unveiling of who true Israel has set the stage for the “end times.” Psalms 83:1 declares that Our Elohim to not hold peace or be still because our enemies make an uproar, and they raise their heads. They have laid crafty counsel and plans against the chosen ones. The goal was to cause Israel to forget WHO THEY SERVE AND WHO THEY ARE. “Let us wipe them out from being a nation.” I remember finding out who I was approximately 10 years ago, and it has revolutionized my life. I went from being excited, to sad, to depressed and to frustrated. When the weight of thinking you are a gentile all your life comes to naught, it can be daunting, coupled with the fact that the scripture plus history equals our reality. For many, some have started on this path but then have decided to go back to mainstream Christianity (other religions) and move on to just going back in the world. Many don’t believe they have an enemy – they believe the concept of the enemy, the devil or the wicked one is just fiction. To many, being an Israelite represents a fad! Israel now has become pompous and prideful, with little to no actions to live and walk out Torah. Being filled with the Ruach, is not a conversation for most Israelites today. Out of all the emotions that I felt coming into this knowledge, the overwhelming truth is that there are tremendous blessings and Honor to be an Israelite. The blessings come with weight! There is mad responsibility for being Chosen and we as Israel must digest the entire loaf of what this life means and how it is to be walked out.
Blessings:
JEREMIAH 1:5 – before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.Isaiah, another prophet of the Most High records and witnesses the same. {We must be different, unique, set apart, –refusing to go down the broad path, is the foundation ofthe blessing and the responsibility of being chosen.} It calls you out and sets you apart. YAHWEH says be HOLY for I am!
Deuteronomy 7:6 -For you are a people holy to the YAHWEH!! He has chosen you to be a people for His treasured possession, (out of all the peoples of the earth.) (If you possess something – it does what you desire) hence a vehicle takes and goes where you desire.)Imagine getting in your car and directing the steering system to go to the grocery store, and you end up in Mexico (a long way to go for groceries) but this is Israel today – off the path of what we should be doing, removing the responsibilities from this walk– the possession must follow the POSSESSOR! It was not because you were more in number than any other people that YAHWEH had loved, but you were the fewest of all people but it was because YAHWEH loves you and is keeping an oath that HE swore to your fathers, that He as brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.
JEREMIAH 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares YAHWEH, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. (WHAT a blessing – to have our Master to hear our prayers). You will seek me and find me when you seek me with ALL YOUR HEART. Responsibility – seeking HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART – what a weight and a blessing!
ISAIAH 43:1-5
1 But now thus says YAHWEH, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. (possession to be possessed)
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; (blessing – He is with US) and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
3 For I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you.
4 Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.
5 Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east,
Responsibilities
Like most in this world, we want something for nothing! The exchange of blessings must come with an exchange of obedience and responsibility!! The fact is obtaining blessings from YAHWEH, has always required His people to be obedient and to follow as HE leads. To be possessed – to be a possession – let’s define it – the state of having, owning, or controlling something. Israelites had a rich history of ethical legacy, and it often came with these responsibilities:
1. They had to be monotheistic in nature – serve NO OTHER gods BUT ME. Exodus 20:3-5 no other ones before me. With all your heart, soul and mind!!You shall have no other gods before1 me
2. Keep the commandments – MAJOR IN OBEDIENCE – being possessed (to grow in grace in being a POSSESSION) – how we should act towards YAH and how we are to treat and love our brothers and sisters. Code of ethics – set apart, dress, eating based on predestined dietary law, words, mindset, how we raise our children, culture, lifestyle, not religion.
3. Responsibility to pray and study Torah II, conduct righteous fast (be filled with Spirit) Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 58 (not conducting your fast in vain) Luke 18:1-14 – And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. II Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved to Elohim, to not be ashamed, a workman rightly dividing the word of truth.
4. Proverbs Chapter 14 – responsibility to think a certain way and act – being chosen is a DUTY!
5. Responsibility to take care of the orphan and the widow. Duet 24:17-22, Proverbs 14:21
6. Responsibility to be fruitful and multiply. Genesis 1:28 Train up children the way they should go. Proverbs 22:6
To ENDURE to the END! Proverbs 26:11 – folly now is Israelites in the world. Going back to our vomit – we must endure in hopes of obtaining the kingdom! We must make good on the promises that was made!
Exodus 24: The Covenant Confirmed
1 Then he said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship from afar.
2 Moses alone shall come near to the LORD, but the others shall not come near, and the people shall not come up with him.”
3 Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD and all the rules.[a] And all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words that the LORD has spoken we will do.”
4 And Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
5 And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD.
6 And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar.
7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”
8 And Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
Shalom
