2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”.
·       Key Point I:the promise of an answered prayer is conditional on repentance. (Humbling oneself, turning from any unrighteous ways, then praying and seeking the face of Elohim.)

I John 1:8-9
·       If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
o   It is very important to deal with the magnitude of sinfulness that can pervade our lives. Asking the Most High to purge any unrighteousness and submit yourself to His Words and His Ways is paramount to radical transformation to not live and do life at a low frequency.

John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he will hear.
·       Key Point II: In your prayer time, incorporate repentance and confession of sin.
o   Repentance:
§  What is true repentance according to the scriptures:
·       Psalms 51:17 – The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite Heart, O God, you will not despise.
o   Contriteness of heart deals with your posture and acknowledgement that we are sinful beings trying to serve a Set Apart Elohim. When we become aware of our offense and acknowledge them, then we can discover the road to forgiveness and answered prayers.

1.      ROADBLOCKS TO REPENTANCE
o   Pride is an impediment to a contrite heart. Pride will allow you to justify your sinful actions and cause you to ignore and disregard the WORDs of the Most High. For we know that it is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of our Elohim.
o   Current Culture and Mainstream Religion is also an impediment to a contrite heart. The church today for the most part does not teach against sin. For as it is written, in Matthew 24:12-13 – and because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. Not only does love for others grow cold, but it grows cold against the WORDs of our Heavenly Father.
o   Repentance must accompany an understanding of the offense against our Elohim, it must accompany a contrite heart and the will and the mind to steer clear of that sin or transgression. Understand you will need the help and the assistant of our Elohim in order to strengthen you in this endeavor.
§  Ephesians 6:11-18 -Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the adversary. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand in the evil day and having done all, to stand
