THE EDEN EXPERIENCE – STILL AROUND TODAY
PREACHERS AND TEACHERS ARE STILL OFFERING THE “GARDEN EXPERIENCE”
This article will explore an analysis of what happened in the garden in Genesis and how it continues to impact of us today. Genesis 3:1:18
The Fall
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made.
He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You[a] shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”
2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden,
3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.
5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,[b] she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.
7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool[c] of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”[d]
10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
14 The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring[e] and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
16 To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to[f] your husband, but he shall rule over you.”
17 And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.
Highlights
This is the first of the breaking of the law. It was the gateway as to what we have now in the world.
1. Mankind has always been curious to “think outside” or live outside of the box of what YAH has given us. We even have terms now like -bicurious because the whole plot was to subvert the mind of humanity and specifically now Israel to get them to not believe what YAHWEH has said.
2. The very commandments are given to us as a light and to be boundaries because YAH knows we can’t handle sin in our vessels when it is fully expanded it will bring death and so it was in the garden. Thus, the mindset and the spirit to be curious and live outside of YAH still exists today and is the reason for our continued demise and captivity.
3. Let’s address the serpent’s response regarding “You shall not surely die.”
a. Galatians 6:7 – Be not deceived, YAHWEH our ELOHIM is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
b. Job 4:8 – According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity and those who sow trouble shall harvest it. Our fore parents got what they deserved. We are getting what we deserve. We just must be honest about it.
c. There has always been a tampering of the word. Most today feel that because the world is still in operation and there seems to be no eradication of evil, that the world will continue indefinitely. Just as the Most High destroyed mankind in the past, He shall do it again and in His wrath come to destroy. I John 2:16 – for all that is in the world or everything that is the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- comes not from the Father but from the world.
i. When you believe your own lies, you tamper with the word. When you reason and try to change scripture to suit your reality, you defile your own self. We have all done it and are all guilty! But YAHWEH urges us to repentance. Not to prolong it but to sever it! We must forcibly remove all forms of delusion and disobedience from our lives.
ii. Isaiah 56:10-12 – the spirit of the serpent is rampant in organized religion. Preachers of the past and present continue to subvert the minds of the people and offer the garden experience each Sabbath Class and each Sunday when they open their doors. “His watchmen are blind; they are all without knowledge; they are all silent dogs, they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding, they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.
4. So, this whole garden experience is because man is not happy in the place that YAHWEH has planted them. We want to do life in the manner that we choose! So, we seek for ways above and beyond HIS offerings. If you go to a restaurant and they give you a menu full of delicious items but yet, you look at the waiter and say, “is this all you have”? That means, you are not satisfied with the offerings. So, we take matters into our hands instead of living within the confines of Torah and accepting and being grateful for what YAH has given and done for us. The world wants to offer you the garden experience because it will open you UP to SIN.
5. Now that our “eyes are open,” we are in the worse shape ever. The eyes are the gateway to the soul or being. We are truly OPENED to every foulness in the land today. All is out of order. There is almost no righteousness or right doing ones in the earth. This world is deplorable and a display of what it means when we depart from our Creator. Again, be not deceived, YAHWEH our ELOHIM is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth, that HE will see again!!
6. The Garden experience offers you the alternative lifestyle. You can depart from YAH and live as you please. You can be a homosexual, pansexual, bi, you can change your gender, you can worship when you want, you can wear what you want, you can live and do whatever your heart’s desire!!
7. “Because you have done this” Says our ELOHIM.. OH boy, If YAH ever says this, we can expect trouble, and I am not talking about having a flat tire or a bad hair day. You can expect a breakdown of humanity. That is what we have today. Broken homes, mental illness, the order of relationships is defunct. We have normalized effeminate men (allowing the woman to lead) and masculine women (unwilling to follow because she feels she is better and can do it). Deplorable living, men are unholy, unrighteous and it is celebrated and normalized. Psalms 106:39 – The people became unholy by their sins; they were unfaithful to YAH in what they did. 2 Timothy 3:2 – People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy. Women are so independent now that they don’t understand covering nor do they really want it or can you they accept it. Because they know it subjects them. BUT YAH gave that summon or judicial precedent. “Your desire will be contrary to your husband, BUT he will rule over you.” Children are not respectful – they are deplorable. Jeremiah 31:22 How long will you waver, O faithless daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth. A woman encircles a man.” Or a woman shall compass a man.
8. The Garden experience will continue to be pushed in this untoward generation. It is especially pronounced against the children of Israel. Psalms 83:3-5 – they have taken crafty counsel against thy people and consulted against the hidden ones.
9. What happened in that garden has set precedent for every other action in this world. I often wonder if they would have obeyed, the life that we were set to live. How beautiful it would be to never know delusion, our captivity, trauma, spiritual and mental disorders (which all stem from departing from YAH, choosing our way over HIS. Not being content with HIS offerings, His WAY or HIS PLAN. The original intent of the Garden was beautiful, represented Harmony with our ELOHIM, but like all else, because of the FALL it has been replaced and no longer can be traced.
